If you do, then Asbury Church might have the right fit for you! It’s called the YOUNG ADULT MOVEMENT (YAM). It’s radical. It’s relational. And it’s real!

YAM is here to nurture and reach out to young adults (YAs), in the tri-state
area, 19-35 years of age. Whether you’re married, single, a parent, or without children, YAM is for you! YAM supports YAs in their personal, professional, and spiritual development. Our goal is to equip, encourage, and empower a new generation of young adult leaders, meeting them right where they are and helping them to grow in their stewardship and citizenship. As YAs we want to know God and in turn make God known to others, in a radical and real way!

The next year is going to be full of excitement, opportunities, and growth. YAM is looking forward to a future that will offer opportunities for Kingdom building through local mission events, study groups, retreats, forums, mixers, concerts, other social events, and some outdoor excursions. It’s time for the church to step outside the box and get a little uncomfortable. YAM is ready to take on those issues that will equip and educate YAs on dealing with life in today’s society. YAM is delighted and privileged to offer YAs an alternative to what the world has to offer. It’s time to take back all that the enemy is stealing from us, and embrace all that God is preparing for us! We’re not the lost generation, we’re generation NEXT – new and improved. YAM’s motto is: Somebody gotta live like Christ…so get like me!
